The following includes some initial tips for finding your calm
Breathing – Deep breathing enhances the parasympathetic nervous system which controls your rest, relax, and digestive response. When the parasympathetic nervous system is in a dominant state, you will start to feel calm.
Meditation – Find time to ground yourself and clear your mind. Even if it’s for only two minutes it’s a great exercise to set yourself up for a better day.
Be grateful – Find at least one thing to be grateful for each day. Practicing gratefulness has been shown to enhance empathy and reduce stress.
